Heart Lake Secondary School has used The Meeting House facility as its venue for Commencement for the past two years.  I cannot think of any other facility that is better suited to a graduation.  There is room for everyone to mingle, enjoy a beverage, and get pictures taken.  We use the entire facility to include the auditorium where the graduating students are placed in alpha order for the processional.  The theatre seats over 1000 people in theatre style seating; there were enough seats to accommodate our large graduating class and their guests.  The live taping of the ceremony allows everyone to see the proceedings and each graduating student up close.  The staff at the Meeting House is very helpful and accommodating.  They are friendly, listen to the needs of the client, and enjoy what they do. The Meeting House provides the service and physical building for relatively the same cost as the rental of one hall in a convention centre.

I am happy to report that I have only received positive reports about our Commencement ceremonies at The Meeting House.  The staff at Heart Lake Secondary School is so pleased with this venue that we have already booked it for the next school year.   We plan on using their facility and services for our Commencement ceremonies for years to come or as long as we are able to do so.

Working with the staff of The Meeting House is an absolute pleasure.  Putting on a huge show takes a small army of people; making the show successful takes the talents of Shirley and the Meeting House team.  Without question, Shirl was instrumental in the smooth running of our concerts.  The sound and lighting techs are always a laugh to work with, and they go above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate our requests - even last minute.  And as for the venue itself, our guests couldn't stop talking about the theatre, using words like "professional", "impressive", "incredible sight lines".  Many thanks Shirl...we'll be back again next year and for many years to come.  When you find something that works, you don't look back!
